ATOS Checklist

Please note the following points for the planning of your in-patient stay:

DOCUMENTS

Documents for admission

  • Passport
  • Proof of home address
  • Proof of upfront payment ( bank statement) – if you prefer to pay cash or with your credit card directly on admission please inform us and please make sure your bank provided you with an adjusted card limit.
    Any GoP (Guarentee of payment) from embassys will NOT be accepted.

Documents for doctors and nursing staff

All relevant medical diagnoses:

  • X-ray, CT, MRT images from the last two years
  • Laboratory results, ECG where applicable
  • Lists of medication and medication
  • Heart pass, cardiac pacemaker pass
  • Marcumar pass or anticoagulation pass
  • Marcumar-Pass or Antikoagulations-Pass
  • Allergy, X-ray, diabetic, prosthesispasses

Please leave at home

You should not bring valuables and large sums of money with you. We assume no liability for the loss of valuables.

Please note

If you regularly take an anticoagulant (Aspirin, Marcumar, Plavix, Iscover, Tiklyd or similar) or diabetes medication, please discuss the adjustment of this medication with your referring doctor. Should you suffer from a cardiovascular illness, please have your referring doctor confirm your cardiac resilience with medical findings

ROOM AMENITIES

The following is provided:

  • Telephone (incoming calls toll-free)
  • Hand towels, flannel (bathrobe on request)
  • Safe (only suitable for small objects)
  • Small refrigerator
  • IPTV television with DVD player
  • Wi-Fi (free of charge)
  • Newspapers / magazines provided
  • Laundry (for a fee)
  • Bathing accessories

Our single rooms, comfort rooms and suites are also equipped with

  • Hair dryer
  • Bathrobe
  • Mini bar (use of the mini bar is free when a comfort room or suite is booked)
  • Additional bed for companion (comfort rooms and suites only, see clinic rates for prices for companion)

General advices

Tip

  • If you are planning to stay in a larger room or bring an escorting person, please let us know in advance. We cannot guarantee for this if you tell us on admission!
  • Parking: Please use the garage in the ATOS main building. Any vehicles parked in front of the clinic will be towed!
  • We provide you with a full board service. If you prefer to bring your own food from outside the clinic please let us know, so we can avoid to waste the food.
  • We will clean your room regularly. If you prefer the cleaning staff to visit you more often, this will be charged extra
  • Visiting hours: Since you will be staying on a floor with other patients we kindly ask you to pay attention to rest periods (noon -02pm and 08.30 pm- 07am) Please inform also your visitors.
  • If you like to leave the building please talk to one of the nurses before you do so.
  • Since we have strict rules from the government regarding our water please do NOT adapt any water hoses to our water supply in the bathroom.
  • Smoking is prohibited everywhere at ATOS.
